A dozen gang members were indicted Aug. 28 on attempted murder, conspiracy and other charges for their alleged involvement in a series of shootings in Southeast Queens, which resulted in the gunfire death of Akim Cisse of Springfield Gardens in 2024, said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz.
Some of the alleged members of the Floss Money Ballers gang, who are variously charged in a 33-count indictment, are from the region, and were allegedly responsible for the vast majority of shootings in Laurelton, Springfield Gardens, Queens Village and at the Baisley Park Houses in South Jamaica, said Katz’s office.
