ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The annual Capital Memorial Stair Climb is taking place on Sunday, September 7. Each year, firefighters, police officers and EMTs come together to fulfill a promise to "never forget" those who died on 9/11.
Participants will climb 110 stories up and down the Empire State Plaza in remembrance of those who died in the line of duty while responding to the terror attacks on the World Trade Center. Most climbers will wear their personal protective equipment. All climbers will wear the name and picture of a hero they are climbing in the memory of.
