SHREVEPORT, La. — A local landmark for more than 50 years, the Creamer Furniture empire, is headed to the auction block. The business will be sold in a series of four auctions beginning this Monday.
Founded by Robert Creamer, the business grew from selling items found in storage lockers to becoming a destination for new and used furniture, antiques, and collectibles.
The first live auction is set to begin Monday at 8 a.m. at the store's location. The event will feature two auctioneers running simultaneously, with food trucks also on site for attendees.
Online auctions are scheduled for September 9, October 9, and October 27.
