The Alexandria boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Lakeview Golf course in Detroit Lakes on Thursday, Sept. 4.

This course is definitely the most challenging course of the year and the Alexandria team took the challenge. This will be the course of the CLC championships. Temperatures were rainy and cold at the start of both the girls and boys varsity and JV races.

Rain stopped before the boys' race, but the wind picked up a bit. The attitude and efforts of the Alexandria runners were great. Good results in all categories from JV up to varsity for the Alexandria CC teams. And the Alexandria parents and fans were the best!
