LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Lexington didn’t need any heroics on Friday night.

In an Atlantic League series that had high drama at the end in its first three games, the Legends enjoyed a ho-hum 6-2 victory over Charleston at Legends Field.

Lexington starter Colton Eastman saw to it with six innings of three-hit ball and 10 strikeouts.

The Dirty Birds (21-31 second half, 51-64 overall) scored a run in the first inning and another in the second to lead 1-0 and 2-1 before Lexington (27-25 second half, 58-57 overall) tallied five unanswered to pull away.

Of Charleston’s three hits, two were home runs – solo shots by Alsander Womack and Alan Alonso.
