WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -- Friday was the first day that people could bring alcohol outside of the bars and restaurants in the Delano District. While some say it's good for business, others have expressed concerns.

The Common Consumption area begins at the intersection of Douglas and Seneca and ends at Douglas and Sycamore. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, bar and restaurant patrons can bring alcohol into the street along that stretch, so long as it's in a cup marked with the business that it came from.
