CHEYENNE — For generations, the Native American Indian Village at Cheyenne Frontier Days has given visitors a glimpse of Native dance and culture.
But when the new Morning Star Indian Village opens next year, it will offer something far deeper: a space built entirely around Native traditions, where every stage and path tells a story of renewal and unity.
Renée Middleton, CFD Foundation executive director, said the new village is almost three times the size of the current Native American Indian Village, and, unlike the current one, is being built entirely around Native American cultural symbolism.
