CUMBERLAND GAP, Tenn. — Football has always been a part of 15-year-old Noah Fultz's life. The sophomore is an anchor on the Cumberland Gap Panthers' offensive line.
"It's not just skills, it's like how big you are and how fast you can be. I just like that concept of it," Noah said.
"Noah is one of those special kids, man," head coach Nick Nash added.
Coach Nash said Noah is also a big team leader.
"Always ready to put in the extra efforts, just a joy to be around," said Nash.
It's a joy that disappeared for a night last season on Friday, September 13, 2024.
"It was just like a quarterback, he just like ran, he was wide open. I was the only person there, so I tried to make a tackle, and I just remember being on the ground. My leg was hurting," Noah said.
