DAVISON, MI — It was a juggernaut of a match.

It’s what you come to expect when two powerhouse football programs take the field.

Warren De La Salle scored first after nearly returning the kickoff for a touchdown by senior running back Anthony Bitonti.

Davison senior quarterback Jaxson Dosh scored in return twice in the first half. De La Salle punched back one more time with another Bitonti touchdown, and after a missed extra point on the first TD, they made up for it with a two-point conversion with a pass to senior tight end Zack Wagner.

At halftime, the score was tied 14-14.

The fourth quarter was definitely an edge of your seat nail-biter that included a late push from Warren De La Salle to bring them within a two-point striking distance of Davison.
