Drivers are making themselves invisible to speed and ANPR cameras in increasing numbers by making a change to their cars.
Police chiefs say the issue is bigger than many people think - and that seems to be the case with over 4,300 drivers detected breaking the law in Birmingham in just two weeks.
They were using so-called 'ghost' plates, which have been cloned or modified in some way so they can't be read by speed or ANPR cameras.
