Jimmy Harrington and Noah Brown overcame significant challenges to transition from the Cape Cod Collaborative to mainstream education.

Both students faced behavioral and developmental hurdles, but with the support of the collaborative's staff, they made remarkable progress, according to a community announcement.

Jimmy, now 19, is a freshman at Bristol Community College, while Noah is starting third grade at his neighborhood school.

Jimmy attended the Cape Cod Collaborative for nearly a decade, earning a reputation for his challenging behavior.

“They turned me from a demon child to a saint,” Jimmy said.

His mother, Melissa, recalled early signs of his struggles.

“When Jimmy was 4 months old he was diagnosed with infantile spasms, which is a seizure disorder,” she said
