The Sun Valley Air Service Board last month unanimously approved a roughly $2 million fiscal 2026 budget, with the largest portion, $1.8 million, allocated to area tourism promotion agency Visit Sun Valley.

Visit Sun Valley's allocation from the board increased $200,000 from fiscal 2025.

Other major funding recipients were Fly Sun Valley Alliance, which received $119,650; Mountain Rides Transportation Authority, which received $110,000; and The Chamber of Hailey and the Wood River Valley, which received $35,000.
