YOUNGSTOWN One person is dead following an overnight shooting on Youngstown’s West Side.

Police were called to an apartment complex on Tyrell Avenue off Salt Springs Road at around 2 a.m. Saturday to investigate reports of gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found one person had been fatally wounded.

21 News is working to learn the victim’s identity and more information about the circumstances that led up to the incident.
