The Red Raiders look to keep their high-octane, well-oiled offense rolling when Kent State comes to town on Saturday.

Texas Tech scored 67 points in their opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, reaching 608 yards of total offense while only allowing 175 yards. In fact, the team rushed for more yards -- 294 -- than their opponent had combined running and passing.

Texas Tech’s 67 points marked the 10th-most in program history; they also scored more than 50 points in two of their last three games last season.

Tech entered the 2025 season ranked inside the top 25 of both major polls for the first time since 2008 as the Red Raiders were No. 23 in the Associated Press poll and No. 24 in the AFCA coaches poll.
