A man in Texas responsible for sexually assaulting multiple women across six years was finally captured by the Texas Rangers.

Serial Rapist Arrested in Texas

40-year-old Eric J. Gipson Sr. was arrested on August 20, 2025 after evading police and sexually assaulting at least four women since 2018.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) posted on X after Gipson Sr. was finally captured:

Early in the morning on September 26, 2024, Gipson reportedly approached a woman near a gas station in Beaumont, TX . After sneaking up on the woman and pulling her to a nearby church, he pulled a knife and pressed it to her throat while he sexually assaulted her.
