ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department is currently investigating two separate alleged stabbing incidents that occurred on Friday. No arrests have been reported as of Saturday morning.

For the first incident, officers were dispatched to the 200-block of South Pearl Street at about 4:45 p.m. Authorities allegedly found a 42-year-old man with a stab wound to his hip.

The victim was treated on scene before being taken to Albany Medical Center for further treatment, police said. An investigation reportedly found that the victim and suspect -- who had fled the scene before police arrived -- had gotten into an altercation prior to the stabbing.

Later, at about 11 p.m., patrolling officers were flagged down by a passerby who said that a man had been stabbed in the area. Police r
