Federal Authorities Arrest, Charge Two in DC Intern Murder

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a significant development Friday in the murder case of Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, the 21-year-old congressional intern fatally shot near the White House on June 30. During an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Bondi confirmed the arrest of two 17-year-old suspects who will be charged as adults.

The victim, a University of Massachusetts Amherst student interning for Republican Rep. Ron Estes of Kansas, was killed by a stray bullet near the Mount Vernon Square Metro Station.
