LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The executive director of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport and Adams Field, Steven C. Baker, has been placed on paid administrative leave by the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission after an executive session on Friday.
A spokesperson for the airport confirms the action by the airport commission took place during a special meeting.
The executive session was held to follow up on a six-month review of Baker, which began last month during the commission’s regular meeting.
In addition to the review, the spokesperson confirms the board is working to ensure compliance with the federal grant agreement requirements.
David Tipton, the airport director of finance and chief financial officer, will serve as interim executive director.
