NORMAN — With ESPN College GameDay on Oklahoma’s campus Saturday before the OU-Michigan football game, one lucky individual was going to have the chance to make some serious cash.
During the live college football preview show, ESPN personality Pat McAfee hosts a kicking contest where a fan is chosen each week to kick a field goal for prize money.
Jack Daugard, an OU freshman accounting major from Houston, made the most of the opportunity. Daugard drilled a 33-yard field goal and won $200,000 from McAfee.
Daugard had joined the line to get a ticket for the kicking contest at 2 p.m. Friday, according to McAfee, and was wearing a pair of football cleats.
