One day before the start of the 2025 regular season, the Titans have signed safety Amani Hooker to a contract extension.

Hooker, who had been entering the final season of his previous deal, agreed to a reported three-year, $48.6 million deal that includes $29 million in total guarantees.

It’s a timely move for the Titans, as the 27-year-old Hooker is coming off a career year that included five interceptions and nine passes defensed. He was named a Pro Bowl alternate in 2024.

In addition, the 2019 fourth-round pick was last week voted a team captain for the first time in his career.

Heading into his seventh season, the 5-11, 210-pound Hooker has been a steady presence at the back end of the Titans’ defense, a starter since 2021.
