CLEVELAND (AP) — Running back Quinshon Judkins signed his rookie contract with the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.
However he is not expected to be active for Sunday’s season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, a person close to the situation told The Associated Press.
Judkins is the last NFL draft pick who was unsigned. He was a second-round pick and the 36th overall selection in April’s draft. His four-year contract is worth $11.389 million and is fully guaranteed. He will have a two-week roster exemption, which is standard for draft picks who sign near the start of the season.
