An investigation is underway in North Miami Beach on Saturday afternoon after an officer was forced to fire their weapon, police said.
According to North Miami Beach Police, the area is being secured following the officer-involved shooting.
Due to the police presence, Northeast 164th Street is closed off between 16th Avenue and 18th Avenue.
While details remain limited, video captured in the area shows officers at a command center, as well as police tape that was put up.
