Two men were shot after gunfire broke out at Zablan Beach in Nanakuli early this morning, according to Honolulu first responders.

Police said that at about 2:30 a.m. officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area. Officers found an unidentified male in the road with a gunshot wound, according to a Honolulu Police Department summary of the incident.

“At the same time, Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center reported that a 19-year-old male had also arrived with a gunshot wound,” HPD officials said.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said that at 2:42 a.m. paramedics responded to two gunshot wounds in the area: an 18-year-old man at 86-260 Farrington Hwy. who was treated and take to a hospital in serious condition, and a second man near the intersection of Piliokahi and Pohakunu
