AMES, Iowa (KCRG) - For the first time since 2011, Iowa State is walking off the field at Jack Trice Stadium with the Cy-Hawk trophy.

With 1:52 left, Iowa State’s Kyle Konrardy split the uprights with a 54-yard field goal, giving ISU a three-point lead. In 2024, Konrardy hit a game-winning field goal in the Cy-Hawk game from the same distance.

Iowa State controlled the first quarter, outgaining Iowa 106-23 and outscoring the Hawkeyes 6-0 in the opening frame. ISU took a 13-3 lead after a Rocco Becht to Benjamin Brahmer 2-yard touchdown pass.

Iowa made steady progress, tying the score at 13 after a Mark Gronowski two-yard TD run and a second Drew Stevens field goal.

ISU’s game-winning drive went 13 plays and 55 yards, ending with Konrardy’s field goal.
