TWG Motorsports CEO Dan Towriss confirmed Saturday that Colton Herta will race in Formula 2 in 2026.

The details are not yet known on what seat Herta will have. But Towriss said he wants Herta to have "every chance possible" to reach his Formula 1 dream.

The most logical move for Colton Herta to continue his dream pursuit of landing in Formula 1 was confirmed by his boss, TWG Motorsports CEO Dan Towriss , on Saturday in Italy.

Towriss in an interview with Juan Pablo Montoya , confirmed that Herta will race in Formula 2 in 2026, but the details are still in the works. When Herta was announced as vacating his Andretti Global seat, it was to be a Formula 1 test driver for Cadillac F1 — both teams fall under TMG Motorsports' umbrella.
