LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Several units were dispatched to a structure fire near North 34th St. and R St. as Lincoln Fire and Rescue said the fire was started by a squirrel.

Crews were dispatched just before 2 p.m. Saturday, LFR said the fire was quickly under control. The department said the fire started after a squirrel got electrocuted on top of a electrical pole causing embers to fall to dry brush right below. Wind pushed the fire which then caused the garage to ignite.

LFR said there is $75,000 in damages. No injuries have been reported.
