LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Two men have been arrested after their buyer’s tags were found to be expired.

The Webb County Sheriff’s Office released information this weekend about an arrest that took place back in August.

Reports indicate that Sheriff Deputies were unable to identify two men who didn’t have IDs.

Border Patrol was called to the scene to assist. The men were then identified as Jose Guillermo Torres Garcia and Miguel Locayo.

Reports say they had a history of prior drug-related offenses and evading arrest.

The Sheriff’s Office says they both admitted they were in the country illegally.
