Saginaw Valley State claimed its first win of the 2025 season, running over Gannon for a 49-28 win Saturday at SVSU.

Michael Jamerson III, a senior from Davison, scored three touchdowns to pace the Cardinals, who evened their record at 1-1. Jamerson scored on a 1-yard run and a 6-yard run, adding a 9-yard TD reception from Mason McKenzie, a sophomore quarterback from Caledonia.
