An annual festival honoring Scottish heritage wrapped up Saturday afternoon.
The Highland Games and Scottish Festival at PennWest Edinboro has been bringing people together to celebrate the culture for over 30 years.
At the event, visitors could find world-class music, Scottish foods and athletic feats all around the campus.
The festival was free and offered the public an unforgettable cultural experience.
"Dr. Thompson started it in 1993 with one of his classes. It was a little class that he had... an event. 500 people came, and now we're at 5,000. and all these vendors and people that are able to give back to our community," said Lisa Keating, director of the Highland Games.
The festival had a record number of bagpipers this year.
