RAPID CITY, S.D. — The University of Jamestown men’s soccer team struggled in the second half of a 4-1 loss to the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Hardrockers’ Dakota Fields.

The Jimmies (1-1) opened the scoring in the sixth minute when Felipe Costa scored to make it 1-0. The score stayed that way until the 34th minute when the Hardrockers’ Nickolas North scored to knot the score up at one.

Midway through the second half, the Hardrockers scored to take a 2-1 lead before they added another one in the 66th minute to go up by two goals. The hosts put the game away in the 68th minute when Parker Yocom scored his second of the day to give his team the 4-1 lead.
