NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) -- All animals and staff have been evacuated from the Warrick County Humane Society following a chemical fire in Newburgh.
A release form the Humane Society says staff and pets are safe and currently at Pups N Paws Playcare. The release goes on to say that the shelter is seeking emergency fosters to aid with the emergency.
"We are in urgent need of fosters to help house our dogs and cats during this emergency. If you can open your home even temporarily it will make a HUGE difference for these animals."
