LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A house fire broke out near the war memorial during the Hogs vs Red Wolves football game Saturday evening.

A spokesperson from the Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD) said that they received a call at about 4:00 PM about a house fire that took place near 7000 Markham St.

Firefighters arrived at the house and saw smoke coming from the roof.

According to LRFD officials, the fire was isolated to the kitchen and a bit of the attic.

The fire was put out, and no injuries have been reported.
