BUFFALO, N.Y. — Home, sweet home.

Pete Lembo's University at Buffalo Bulls started the season on the road in Big Ten country last week against Minnesota.

After a 23-10 loss to the Gophers, the Bulls returned back to Amherst this week for their home opener.

The Bulls gave the home fans plenty to cheer for in their return to UB Stadium.

UB struck first, struck often and never looked back in its home opener, routing Saint Francis (Pa.) 45-6.

The rushing attack set the tone for the Bulls, who outgained the Red Flash by 366 yards (UB 370-SFU 4) on the ground. Running back Al-Jay Henderson led the way (98 yards, 2 TDs), followed by quarterback Ta'Quan Roberson (88 yards, 2 TDs), who added 133 yards through the air with a touchdown pass and interception.
