DETROIT -- Gleyber Torres’ three-run homer and seven shutout innings from Tarik Skubal powered the Detroit Tigers to a 6-0 win over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday night at Comerica Park.

The Tigers (82-61) clinched another winning season, their first consecutive winning seasons since 2011-14. They split the first two games with the White Sox (54-89) and will wrap up the series on Sunday afternoon.

Jahmai Jones drilled the second pitch of the game from Martín Pérez into the Tigers’ bullpen in left field, his second straight start with a leadoff homer after doing the same Monday against the New York Mets.
