NEW ORLEANS – Sen. Royce Duplessis has released his first television ad ahead of the October 11 election.

Duplessis is considered the frontrunner in the mayoral race to succeed LaToya Cantrell who is in the final stretch of her term as mayor of New Orleans.

Duplessis has raised over $600,000 in his bid to lead the Crescent City and is campaigning on a platform of reducing crime by making more investments in first responders, investing in families by increasing the stock of affordable housing, providing more incentives for small business owners and stabilizing the City’s ability to provide services to the City’s 360,000 residents.
