HOUSTON – A person has been detained following a home invasion Saturday night at an apartment complex in Montrose, according to the Houston Police Department.

The incident was reported around 6:52 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Hyde Park Boulevard.

Police said the victim reported that a man walked into his home and attacked him. The caller told officers he did not know the man who broke into the residence.

One person was detained at the scene, officials said.
