'This is appalling.' Smash-and-grab suspects sought in San Jose jewelry store armed robbery

(KRON) -- The San Jose Police Department is investigating a violent smash-and-grab armed robbery Friday afternoon at a jewelry store in the 1900 block of Aborn Road.

“The suspects drove a vehicle through the front of the business,” said San Jose PD in a statement to KRON4. “Multiple suspects entered the store with at least one suspect armed with a firearm. The suspects broke the displays and took jewelry. The suspects fled the scene in multiple vehicles.” San Jose PD said its Robbery Unit is handling the case.
