BATON ROUGE — LSU football tight end Trey'Dez Green was slow to get up after an awkward landing early in the fourth quarter against Louisiana Tech on Saturday night.

While the sophomore tight end was blocking on a play, the action came his direction and, as the pile moved, a couple of bodies ended up landing on his right lower leg.

LSU trainers attended to the big, 6-foot-7, 240-pound tight end on the field before helping him up. Green had a noticeable limp and needed assistance getting to help to the medical tent on LSU's sideline. STREAM LSU VS LOUISIANA TECH

The Tigers (1-0) were leading Louisiana Tech 17-0 when Green exited the game.

Green was seen on the LSU sideline on crutches with a brace on his right knee after emerging from the medical tent.
