LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – This week’s college football action in the Natural State was split between Thursday and Saturday with six teams playing each day. While there were eight Division II teams to debut this week, all eyes were on the in-state matchups.
Arkansas def. Arkansas State 56-14
In their first-ever meeting the Hogs beat the Red Wolves 56-14 in a game that started off with a scoring frenzy from the Razorback offense. After going into halftime with a 35-14 lead, the Hogs added three more in the second half to score more than 50 for the second week in a row. Taylen Green threw for 239 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions and Jaylen Raynor completed 21 passes for 125 yards, a score and two picks.
