SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) -- The Naismith Hall of Fame inducted its Class of 2025 in Springfield, Massachusetts, marking a significant event in basketball's birthplace.

The induction ceremony, held at Symphony Hall, drew thousands of fans, celebrities, and locals despite the rainy weather. The event celebrated the contributions of basketball legends and highlighted the impact of their work both on and off the court.

"The award was made to give to people that we see doing things off the court to help people," said Ice Cube, rapper and songwriter, referring to the Ice Cube Impact Award.

"Very fortunate to accomplish so many amazing things that wasn't one of the things that was in the cards, and now I'm being recognized for my philanthropic efforts," said Jalen Rose, recipient of the Ice C
