GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) - On Saturday, the community came together for the 14th annual Jesse Pickett Family Safety Day in Grand Chute.
The goal of the event is to educate the public on a broad scope of safety-related topics and to honor the fire prevention specialist who lost her life in a car accident back in 2013.
The event took place at the Grand Chute Fire Department and featured emergency vehicles on display, a community blood drive, hands-on activities, and even WBAY’s Aisha Morales, who was showcasing her tips and pamphlets for the First Alert Safety Desk.
