RICE LAKE, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Over the hill, many were having a blast outdoors while raising money for a Northland non-profit.

The 27th annual Shoot For Fun was held Saturday, with hundreds competing in Minnesota’s largest sporting clay event.

The competition brings variety as all marksmen compete in 10 different locations throughout the Old Vermillion Shooting Range with clay pigeons coming in from all angles.

The event raises funds for Northland Adaptive Recreation, which promotes an active lifestyle for everyone.

“We have over three hundred participants who want to get out and be active in our outdoors and community recreation opportunities. Everybody has their own passion in life, and what our programs do is make it available for people of all abilities,” said Program Mana
