NORMAN — Kendal Daniels missed some run fits in his OU debut against Illinois State, but the Oklahoma State transfer linebacker was on point in the first half against Michigan.
On U-M’s first drive of the game, Daniels sniffed out a third-down screen pass to running back Justice Haynes and tackled him for a loss of one yard, forcing the Wolverines to punt.
Then, on Michigan’s second possession, Daniels keyed on another pass to Haynes and rocked the U-M running back for a 5-yard setback on a highlight reel hit.
Daniels finished the game with four total tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.
