Tulsa’s education landscape is as diverse as its neighborhoods. There are large traditional schools, smaller community schools, innovative charters and districts that stretch into the suburbs. Each plays a vital role in shaping the city’s future. But with so much variety, it can be hard to see the full picture.
That’s why I’m excited to introduce the Data Matrix, a new tool designed to help Tulsa schools learn from each other and accelerate progress for students.
The Data Matrix is part of the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center’s mission to help schools thrive. For years, educators and families have had access to plenty of data — on enrollment, student performance, attendance and more. But the information was scattered across different systems and difficult to compare.
