The Best in the World awards banquet is more than just an evening. It is a celebration of the innovation, hard work and spirit that defines Tulsa.

People voted 164,068 times in this year’s contest to name the best of everything in Tulsa in 150 categories, from dining and shopping to pets, health care, education and even “People of the Year.”

The ballot was created by the public.

The event will be at the Ruffin Event Center at Marriott Tulsa Hotel Southern Hills from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
