Hogwarts Legacy is a fine Harry Potter game but the lack of DLC expansions hurt it in the long run.

With Hogwarts Legacy 2 on the way there’s potential for the sequel to succeed where the first game failed, but I’m not holding my breath.

Something that was seriously lacking in Hogwarts Legacy was seasonal content, as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books and films took holidays like Halloween and Christmas very seriously, so while the in-game equivalent redecorates during parts of the story, it always felt lacking in actual content.

There is a spooky quest that many relate to Halloween called Haunted Hogsmeade which I’d bet all players know about by this point, and while many players love it many others don’t consider it a winner.
