A proposed shopping center near Rehoboth lists Costco, Target and Whole Foods in plans filed with Sussex County.

The developer has requested a rezoning, on the agenda of the next Sussex County Planning and Zoning meeting.

Costco has more than 800 stores but only one in Delaware so far, in Christiana.

Costco could be opening its second Delaware store in a proposed shopping center in Sussex County.

The wholesale club famous for its $4.99 rotisserie chicken and $1.50 hot dog-soft drink combo is part of plan for a 695,000-square-foot retail center west of Route 1 between Lewes and Rehoboth.

Other anchor stores listed in the Sussex County planning documents are Target and Whole Foods.
