TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The historic Powerball jackpot was finally claimed Saturday night, with two lucky winners in Missouri and Texas.

The final total was $1.787 billion, the second largest in history, following a $2.04 billion jackpot won by a California player in 2022. The winning numbers in Saturday night's draw were 11, 23, 44, 61, 62 and Powerball 17.

The two winners will split the prize evenly and have the option of either an annuitized prize of $893.50 or a lump sum payment of $ 410.30 million.

Even though only two people claimed the top prize, many more won cash prizes. Powerball said more than 9.9 million tickets won something Saturday night.
