Over the years, basketball fans have seen several rivalries between the teams and the players. One of the most prominent feuds was between former NBA player Shaquille O’Neal and Dwight Howard.

Both legends threw shade at each other on various occasions. Most recently, in an interview, when the topic was the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2020 NBA championship, O’Neal criticised Howard with a bus driver remark. This feud has been going on for a long time, but ended in a surprising way at the 2025 Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony.

“We did not always eye to eye, but in hindsight I believe it was just sibling rivalries. We are brothers in this fraternity of basketball and sometimes brothers fight over the stupidest stuff. I really blame Soulja Boy,” Howard said on his relationship with O’Neal.
