Jerald E. "Judge" Martin Jr., a lifelong resident of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at the age of 52. Born in Batavia on Nov. 4, 1972, Jerry was a cherished son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Jerry was a 1991 graduate of Batavia High School and continued his education at Genesee Community College. He was a longtime employee of Spectrum in Batavia, serving as a construction coordinator. Jerry was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers, never missing a chance to cheer on his favorite teams. He also enjoyed playing golf and volleyball, passions he shared with friends and family alike.
